Kasauli – An enchanting Town midst the clouds

Situated at an elevation of 1927 meters, Kasauli is a diminutive hill station in the pristine land of Himachal Pradesh. It also dole out as an army cantonment. With snow-capped peak, thick jungle and clean environment make this place worth visiting and a delight to the eyes.

Recognized by the British Raj in 1842, Kasauli is a cantonment city situated in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, about 77 km from Shimla. The odds and ends of the British history can be originated in the Victorian structural design and the charming old churches.

Baptist Church & Christ Church is an exemplary example of conventional Gothic style of architecture. Christ Church has striking blemished glass windows, a widespread feature of churches built by the British during regal era.

This cantonment urban town is also well-known for Kasauli Brewery and distillery. It is stated & supposed to be the oldest operating distillery for Scotch whisky in Asia.
